The Law Centre (Northern Ireland) has recently launched a digital guide to help people who are bringing a social security appeal without the support of a representative.  Focusing on personal independence payment appeals, the guide gives practical information and advice to help them prepare for what can be a daunting experience by showing what to expect in an appeal hearing. As we are outside NI, you should note note the video refers throughout to 'the appeals service', rather than Her Majesty's Courts & Tribunals Service however, the principals are the same.
