Documents produced during the period of suspension of the Local Plan Examination

To address the three significant issues of concern identified in the Inspector's Preliminary Findings letter the Council has produced a series of evidence base documents and reports.

These documents have been used to create the final proposed Main Modifications which were submitted to the Inspector on the 18 March 2014.

The documents produced between July 2013 and March 2014 should be read in conjunction with the original evidence base submitted in January 2013, found here: Core Documents. A list of the full set of Local Plan documents is found here: Index of Core Documents.

For ease of reference, the additional evidence prepared to inform the proposed Main Modifications is as follows:

Between July 2013 and March 2014 the Council's Project Management Board has considered the above evidence base and other supporting documents and information. The meetings of the Project Management Board can be found here: Agendas, Reports and Notes of the Local Development Framework Project Management Board.

The final proposed Main Modifications and evidence base has been shaped by a period of public consultation on the draft proposed Main Modifications, which took place between 28th November 2013 and 10th January 2014. The consultation version of the proposed Main Modifications and supporting evidence can be found here: Proposed Main Modifications November 2013

During the suspension of the Examination, the Council has been in regular contact with the Inspector to make sure that it is meeting the requirements of the timetable put forward in July 2013. The details behind this correspondence can be found here: Correspondence between the Inspector and the Council regarding the suspension of the Local Plan Examinationg.

The proposed Main Modifications have been approved by the Council's District Executive and Full Council in both November 2013 and March 2014.
