On the 5th March 2015, South Somerset District Council adopted the South Somerset Local Plan (2006 - 2028). Copies of the local plan and supporting documentation are available from the links below.
The adopted plan now forms part of the statutory development plan and will be used to shape decisions on the future of the district.
Any person who is aggrieved by the adoption of the South Somerset Local Plan (2006 - 2028) may make an application to the High Court under Section 113 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 on the grounds that:
(a) the document is not within the appropriate power; or
(b) a procedural requirement has not been complied with.
