Food Allergens


Information for small businesses producing prepacked foods. It will help you decide what you should put on the label if foods you produce contain ingredients that some people are allergic to.

From 13 December 2014, food businesses will need to provide information about allergenic ingredients in the food they serve.  The guidance below has been produced by the Food Standards Agency to assist small to medium size businesses achieve compliance with the new legislation.
