It is hoped that the new centre will help more people explore
Yeovil Country Park and also provide greater information to people
who already enjoy its facilities. The venue will also be used as an
education and information centre for the park, and will be the new
base for the countryside ranger team and park volunteers.
The building has been designed as a flexible space which in the
near future we hope to accommodate educational groups and school
groups as well as café customers.
There is an activity basket for children of all ages found at
the back of the café. Books, toys, colouring sheets and games
related to the countryside can be enjoyed. The café staff are an
artistic bunch and like to design sheets and seasonal gift cards
for children to colour in.
The rangers regularly find interesting natural items whilst out
working in the park. They have compiled a nature basket displayed
in the café designed to share their finds with visiting children.
The basket will be updated through the seasons.

Opening times
